Episode 33

33: Thrive, Survive or Somewhere In-Between

Summary

I threw out  a survey on social media on what I should cover for this weeks topic. If you didn't see that, make sure you follow me on Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn (where I publish the most stuff). The topic ended up being Thriving vs. Surviving. Now the reality is that it's not a one or the other situation and we all fall somewhere in between. So let's spend the next few minutes talking about what it means, why its important that we know where we are and then what to do once we know.

Key Topics & Time Stamps

Key Takeaways

  • It's important to know we are on the slider between thriving and surviving and to be able to help others identify where they are.
  • Happiness and moving forward towards our goals are a couple of indicators that can help us identify our placement.
  • Once we know where we are, we need to be deliberate and have a plan to stay in thrive or to start moving towards thrive.
  • Helping others, especially the younger generations, to have an opportunity to thrive is one of our key roles as a leader.
